Andreas Bergström

Andreas has broad experience in advocacy and political decision-making processes at various levels, including the Swedish Parliament and the Government Offices.

Andreas has served as Deputy CEO of the green and liberal think tank Fores, with special responsibility for economic policy and entrepreneurship. He has also worked on integration, climate and digitalisation issues. In addition to that, Andreas coordinated Fores’s European collaboration within the European Liberal Forum, where he also sat on the board. Prior to that, he worked for the Liberal Party, including in the right-wing coalition government’s Policy Coordination Secretariat (2006–2010) and for the Minister for Integration (2010–2012). Before that, he worked as a science journalist.

Andreas holds a master’s degree in molecular biology from Lund University and a journalism degree from the Department of Media Studies at Stockholm University. He has also studied, among other things, economics and political science at the universities of Lund and Stockholm.
