Matilda holds a bachelor’s degree in political science and economics from Uppsala University and has taken supplementary courses in economics and statistics as part of her degree programme.

Matilda is particularly interested in advocacy, culture, healthcare issues and integration policy. She has worked voluntarily on integration issues for the Swedish Red Cross Youth Association and now writes for the organisation Nya Kompisbyrån. Matilda has also studied Spanish in Barcelona.

Matilda conducts business intelligence and research for New Republic’s projects. At New Republic, she has worked, among other things, on cultural, health and social care, sustainability and policy advocacy issues.
