Olle Schubert

Olle is one of the founders and principal owners of New Republic Public Affairs. He is Senior Advisor with extensive experience in providing advice and leading and managing projects and processes, often at the management team level, for public authorities, companies and organisations.

Olle has over twenty years’ public affairs experience, with particular expertise in energy, climate and environmental issues. He was New Republic’s CEO from the start in 2011 until 2024.

Olle was a reporter and editor at Montel Powernews, an information provider for the international energy markets. He is a behavioural scientist by background with a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Stockholm University. He has also attended various leadership courses and completed a training course at the Swedish Academy of Board Directors.
