New Republic Public Affairs is a partner-owned consultancy with extensive experience in advising and providing operational support to leaders who need to create effective, sustainable conditions to safeguard and develop their organisations’ values.

Senior Consultant

Tobias has ten years’ strategic communications experience. He has previously worked as a public affairs consultant in a range of industry sectors, with particular expertise in life sciences and public health. An expert on the pharmaceutical industry’s ethical regulatory framework, Tobias has served as a board member of the Swedish Pharmaceutical Society’s Drug Information Section. Tobias has also worked in strategy, policy advocacy and communications at the Swedish Cancer Society.

Tobias most recently worked as Press Secretary to Minister for Foreign Trade and Nordic Affairs Anna Hallberg (Social Democratic Party). As part of this role, he worked on the Government’s investment, industrial and sustainability policy.

Tobias holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from Lund University. He has also studied journalism and modern languages in Sweden and France.
