Viktoria has over 20 years’ communications and advocacy experience, with a particular focus on energy, forestry and real estate issues. She has a background as Head of Communications, Chief Press Officer and Senior Public Affairs Advisor. She also worked for several years as a news journalist covering energy and sustainability issues.

Viktoria joined us from the industry and interest organisation Public Housing Sweden, where she was Head of Communications. Prior to that, she held key communications and advocacy positions, including at the European energy company Vattenfall, the energy provider Stockholm Exergi and the Centre Party. At New Republic, she leads strategic projects for companies and organisations wanting to strengthen their external relations.

As one of the initiators of Kraftkvinnorna, a network to attract more female leaders to the energy sector, Viktoria has long been involved on a voluntary basis in gender equality issues. She has also been engaged in unpaid political work, holding elected positions for the Centre Party in Region Stockholm and in Haninge Municipality.

Viktoria holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from Södertörn University and has studied journalism at the Poppius Journalism School and macroeconomics at Stockholm University.
